Welcome Friends of Herring Run Parks!
The Herring Run Parks are a great place for play, peace, observation and discovery.
Come enjoy it with your family and friends!
Join us for events in the park.
Friends of Herring Run Parks (FHRP) is a community-based, nonprofit organization created to restore, protect and promote the Herring Run Park stream valley as a place where nature and neighbors thrive.
Along with the Herring Run Park in northeast Baltimore City, our foot print includes the other parks along the stream valley of the Herring Run (waterway), which are all part of the Back River watershed leading to the Chesapeake Bay. See this on a map.
FHRP offers recreational programs alongside conservation and restoration activities. We advocate on behalf of the park and its community.
