Welcome!

We are Friends of Herring Run Parks. We are a community-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and improving the Herring Run Parks in Northeast Baltimore City.

Our beautiful parks include the forested stream valleys of Herring Run and Chinquapin Run, both part of the Back River watershed leading to the Chesapeake Bay.  Donate to the cause and join us at our volunteer and fun events.
The mission of the Friends of Herring Run Parks is to preserve, protect, restore, and promote Herring Run Parks and its stream valley for the benefit of present and future generations.
