2024
Advocacy
agenda

The Advocacy Committee of FHRP supports the organization's mission “to restore, protect and promote the Herring Run stream valley as a place where nature and neighbors thrive.” Starting in 2024, the Advocacy Committee has established an annual agenda to focus the efforts of FHRP.

FHRP’s advocacy embodies its organizational values, particularly those of building community engagement and partnerships. The communities around the park and the ecological health of the park are core to all advocacy efforts. FHRP’s advocacy agenda adjusts as necessary throughout the year, given that community concerns and environmental conditions change.

We welcome new members to the committee on a rolling basis throughout the year.
